Al Hallak
My journey started in Los Angeles with film school and hands-on industry experience, working across film, television, branded media, and interactive storytelling. I’ve worked in nearly every role, including producer, director, writer, cinematographer, editor, and actor, giving me a full understanding of how projects come together.
Managing complex projects with limited resources taught me to stay calm under pressure, make the most of what’s available, and rely on collaboration as the key to every successful production. These principles continue to guide my work.
I have shared my knowledge as a mentor with emerging filmmakers at New York University, The New School, and New York Film Academy, and have trained media professionals from organizations including Discovery, National Geographic, and PBS.
Driven to empower creators, I founded Pitch to Screen, a platform that supports filmmakers and celebrates their achievements.
Today, I continue to pursue my passion for storytelling, bridging emerging technologies with the art of narrative to create work that inspires, connects, and resonates.
